The Albatros and me
It is Feb 2024 and after a lot of planning and some crazy years living in a crazy world we finally make it to Argentina.
We have been on the road for almost 2 weeks and seen the beauty of a very big country in South America.
We made it to Ushuaia, the most southern town in the world in Tierra del Fuego province.
Being only 1000 km from Antarctica gave me a very special feeling.  In fact not sure what it was but when we touched down in Ushuaia and we had a walk near the sea, that instant happiness feeling came across me.
We embarked for a boat ride on the Beagle channel and that is where we met…the Albatros.
Spending many late hours watching Nat Geo and seeing the biggest seabird flying effortless over the big waves of the ocean, I always wanted to see one in real life.
It was here in the tip of South America, here on the end of the world that dream came true.
The picture taken here is on our way back after seeing a big diversity of birds, sea-lions and pinguins when the catamaran cruised full speed back to Ushuaia. I was alone on the deck as I guess most people were cold and tired.

Just me the water, the mountains and him.
